I appreciated the MFA-P course for many reasons, the most important of which was its comprehensive detail about philanthropy in Canada from the context (who, what, why) to tax (personal and corporate) to specific strategies that donors and their advisors can use to maximize the effectiveness of planned giving.
​
I continue to use the values-based templates when speaking with clients who want to give but aren’t quite sure to which causes they should direct their giving. The tax calculators associated with the course are practical and I continue to use them in my work.
Finally, for anyone with a passion for public speaking, the course is an excellent resource for sharing the current state of philanthropy in Canada and how we can all make a difference by thoughtfully supporting causes that mean something to us.

Advance Your Career
CAGP has partnered with CFRE International, Advocis, and FPSC to offer continuing education credits for many of our sessions and programs at the Chapter and National levels. Members and non-members alike are given opportunities to earn credits towards designations through CAGP education.
The Niagara Golden Horseshoe Chapter offers events and education sessions each year. We invite you to develop your network and advance your career with us through diverse course offerings and events.

Bursaries & Scholarships
